NEW VISION STATEMENT

A new Vision Statement was launched on Monday 20th September which sets out the aims for the school for the next five years. It was developed with contributions from many people from the wider school community.

Our new pictorial vision is based loosely on the London Underground map linking closely with the title 'Journey of a Lifetime'. There are five lines each with its own final station with several stations to visit along the way:

·         Learning Line

·         Teaching Line

·         Community Line

·         Skills for Life Line

·         Well Being Line

The Vision has its foundations in what we all believe to be the key values of education and describes the aspirations we have for making the school an even better environment to prepare our children for the future.

On Monday 20th September the Vision was shared and discussed with the children in assembly and during the afternoon they all took part in a 'Word Hunt' around the school and the grounds, solving clues to find the words that make up the map. All the children had an iced cake in one of the relevant colours at the end of the hunt!
