Feel free to continue with any previous week's writing tasks.
This week you could try some poetry writing – create an ‘Eat a poem’.
- Choose a piece of fruit/veg
- Write descriptive words/phrases using your senses, for how that piece of fruit/veg looks, feels, smells, tastes and how it sounds when bitten into. You can do this for the outside, then cut it open.
- Once you've got some ideas written down, you can expand your words/phrases and make them as interesting as you can. You should have 1 line for each of the 5 senses.
- Once you've got your poem written, you can draw the shape of your fruit/veg and then write your poem inside the shape.
Remember, poems don't have to rhyme! There are some resources below to help you.
