This week, in English, you should finish off any of the activities in the document below from before the Easter holidays, that you didn't manage to do.

If you completed all of those, I'd really like you to get your imaginations working this week. I'd love it if you could write me a short story. It needn't be very long, but it should have a beginning, middle and end. Think about who your main character is, is there an evil character? What is the problem that the main character faces? How do they overcome the problem? What happens in the end?

You might find it useful to mind-map, or write some ideas down in bullet points before you write your story. There's 3 different planning documents below that you could use to do this, it will help you to organise your ideas before starting your story. If you'd prefer to draw your ideas as a story map or story board, you can.

If you're struggling to think of what to write about, you could use this website to give you some ideas:

Remember to use your handwriting lined book, a pencil and your gel pen for capital letters and full stops!
