We would like to introduce our new Sports Crew for 2024/25 from Jaguars class - Amelia, Brandon, Ben, Benji, Darcie, Evie, Jackson, Mia, Olivia, Sam, Seb, Tom & Zack.

Last Friday, these children attended a Sports Crew Training event hosted by Active Surrey at Horley Leisure Centre.  This was a dynamic 3-hour session designed to build resilience, character and confidence through physical activity and leadership.  During the morning the children took part in various PhysiFUN games like Head, Shoulders, Knees and Cones, Pipeline and Traffic Jam.  They learnt about the qualities required to be a Sports Crew member, the importance of teamwork, and how to effectively deliver sporting activities and PhysiFUN games to others using the "Mr NEDD" principle (Name the game, Explain, Demonstrate & Deliver).  These skills will now be put to good use by the Sports Crew during lunchbreak and at other planned times throughout the school year.
