Last Wednesday Miss Keating had the pleasure of accompanying nine year 5 children to Limpsfield Cricket Club to compete in a tournament against St Mary’s School.  The team tried so hard, remained focused and positive throughout.  They showed great camaraderie and gave a superb performance, even though it just wasn’t enough to get them through to the finals.  After the first game, the players received feedback from the coaches and they were able to refine their approach and improve their skills for the second inning.  Coaches also commented on their great bowling, fielding, commitment when running and their communication skills.

All nine students were polite and showed respect, encouragement and kindness to St Mary’s.  They played with a competitive attitude but in a fair and honest manner, exactly how the sport should be played.
