I wanted to get started on some of the Art lessons we would have been doing at school. We are going to study several different artists over the coming weeks, who all use nature as their inspiration.
The first artist we are going to look at is Georgia O'Keeffe. Have a look at the powerpoint below which shows you some of her work.
I would then like you to have a go at drawing a flower. The powerpoint talks you through the steps you need to follow. It recommends using paints but if you don't have paints at home, colour pencils will work just as well.
I know it's raining today but hopefully the sunshine will be back out again soon and you can find a flower either in your garden or out on a walk, which you can use for your drawing.
