W/B 4th January
In English, on Monday, we started looking at a new book (The Snail and the Whale) as a stimulus for our learning. Next week, we will continue our learning based around that book. For the rest of this week, I'd like you to practise writing super sentences. The document below has lots of really cool images that you can write about. Choose one or two pictures a day and try to write 3-5 super sentences.
Remember, a super sentence needs:
- a capital letter at the start.
- a finger space between each word.
- to make sense.
- a full stop (or ?/!) at the end.
You could use a gel pen or different coloured pen for your capital letters and full stops, like we do in school. Writing on the handwriting lined paper is a really good idea. You can download and print it in the 'handwriting' section of our class page.
