Yesterday, Year 6 attended a Junior Citizen event at Lingfield Racecourse. They participated in 6, 15-minute workshops providing knowledge, skills and information needed to stay safe in preparation for secondary school. Each workshop was led by a different professional in their field of expertise. The children learnt about: CPR, hidden sugars in food and drink, the age of criminal responsibility, scams and fraud, railway safety, construction site safety and much, much more. It was a really interesting, informative and jam-packed morning. Well done, Jaguars!
