School Council gives our children 'their voice' and enables them to express their views and opinions. In the autumn term each class elects two representatives who sit on the council for the academic year. Regular meetings are held and children are assisted in their discussions by teachers supporting each meeting. School Council representatives discuss issues raised with their class so that all children are able to contribute their views.
This year the school council came up with new rules to help us stay safe, respectful and responsible on the playground. They also helped us to write a safeguarding poster and anti-bullying posters in language everyone can easily understand.
