Classes R, I and 2 have their own outdoor learning areas adjacent to the classrooms. These have overhead canopies which allow them to be used for most of the school year.
We have two large playgrounds which are used throughout the school day for breaktimes, PE activities and often as an extension to the classroom environment.
Our school field enables access to a variety of sports and we hold our Sports Day in the summer term on the field. We also have a play frame over a safety surface and an adventure trail.
We have a small wood which provides exciting opportunities for outdoor learning across the curriculum. There is a story telling circle in the woods.
Our Old School House has a garden to the front of the school which has a pond. This area is excellent for hunting mini-beasts!
Our pupils enjoy growing their own fruit and vegetables and all classes get involved in growing during the school year.
As well as providing a wide range of outdoor learning activities in school, we offer our pupils a range of educational visits. These visits are associated with the work being undertaken in class. More information about these visits can be found on class pages.
