  • Class 6 Assembly

    Fri 08 Nov 2019

Class 6 entertained us all with a fabulous assembly this morning. They told us all about their brilliant week on the Isle of Wight: the activities that they had completed, challenges that they had faced and successfully overcome, their funniest moments and their proudest moments. They kept us all awake with regular ‘shout outs’ and amusing songs. Thank you Class 6.

  • Litter Picking Club

    Fri 08 Nov 2019

We litter picked in the staff car park and outside the school. We even cleared the edge of our hedge by the village hall. We found quite a lot of litter right by the litter bin and the bench! But our environment is definitely cleaner than when we started and we are happy to keep our school CLEAN!

  • Class 2 Bluebell Railway

    Fri 08 Nov 2019

On the Thursday before half term, Class 2 enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Bluebell Railway. They were shown around the steam works and enjoyed experimenting with all the hands on activities and seeing the 144 year old Stepney train.

Their favourite part of the day was riding on the steam train from Sheffield Park to East Grinstead and back again.  They had a brilliant day and learnt a lot about steam trains!

  • Sports Hall Athletics

    Fri 08 Nov 2019

Mrs Pearce and 16 Class 5 and 6 pupils went to Sackville Sports Hall straight after school on Tuesday. We had a great time competing against 5 other primary schools. We were supportive of each other and did lots of loud cheering!!

The events were hard and fast and involved a lot of running... We really worked hard and had some fantastic results: First place in '6 Lap Paarlauf Boys' (pair run), first place in 'Over/Under relay Boys' and in first place in 4x1 Lap Relay Boys... all of our times and scores meant we were fourth overall. Four other primary schools were continuing the event on Wednesday.

We had a hot sweaty afternoon, but did Felbridge proud with our attitude and performance!

Thanks to the parents who braved the traffic to deliver the children to Sackville and thanks to Mrs Pearce for accompanying the children at the event.
