  • Rocksteady Concert

    Fri 06 Dec 2019

On Wednesday we were treated to the Rocksteady performance. Children who have been working hard with Huw since September played their songs in front of the whole school and their parents. It was clear that they had all been learning a lot about playing as part of a band, they kept in time and all performed brilliantly! We all thoroughly enjoyed watching them and thank Huw for his hard work with the children.

  • Football League

    Fri 06 Dec 2019

“On a cold Wednesday, Felbridge Class 5 and 6 boys played in the next round of the football league at the East Grinstead Sports Club.  We drew our first game 1-1 against Baldwins Hill.  Joseph Keetley kept us in the game several times with some brilliant saves.  In the second game we lost 2-0.  During the first half we were a little slow in defence.  We were far better in the second half, not conceding any goals.  A special mention must go to Virgil Van Harry Thompson who was a rock in defence, making some amazing"

  • Class 5 - Maths in Action Day at Lingfield Racecourse

    Fri 06 Dec 2019

“On Tuesday, Class 5 went to Lingfield racecourse to watch horse racing and do maths.  We learnt about the imperial system.  There are three feet in a yard, twenty two yards in a chain, ten chains in a furlong and eight furlongs in a mile.  We also learnt lots of other interesting maths facts and developed our maths skills throughout the day in a variety of activities”

  • Infant Christmas Play

    Fri 06 Dec 2019

This year we were treated to a brand new Infant Christmas play - Babushka!  The children performed this lovely story with a heart-warming message with real exuberance and enjoyment.  From the narrators who led us through the tale, the Babushka’s themselves, the kings, flies, spiders and mice to the chorus of angels, camels and innkeepers, all the children sung and acted beautifully.  They should all be incredibly proud, as we are, of their performances.  Well done Classes R, 1 and 2!
