On Wednesday, Felbridge went to the biggest sporting event of the year, Area Sports, looking to retain their title from the previous year. We got off to a good start with Sophie and Dexter both finishing third in their respective races. We were also performing well in the field events with some brilliant throwing from Jay and some  great broad jumping from Alex. 

James was particularly impressive by winning his long jump by over 1 metre. The closing event, the year six 4 x 100m relay race finished in controversy as the race had to be re-run due to a fall in another lane. Macey bravely stepped up to run in the re-run due to Sarah being injured, which saw us improve our finish from 4th to 3rd place. Despite all of our efforts and great performances, we finished in a respectable 4th place. Well done to all children who took part and trialled for the event, and thank you to all parents for transporting the children to and from the event.
