Football Tournament

Class 6’s final ever game of the Primaryship football league saw us take on Crawley Down and Copthorne schools.  First up we played Copthorne who were a very drilled-out outfit.  They pressed well and were equally as good on the ball, unfortunately we couldn’t find a way through their defence and lost by 3-0.

Next up, Crawley Down.  They boys were keen to avenge the previous loss and started well with an early goal from Jay following a good run from Fletcher through the centre of the park.  Our lead was quickly doubled with a sublime finish from Mikey.  We held on to our convincing 2-0 lead.

I have thoroughly enjoyed coaching the boys over the last two years.  They have put a smile on my face on many a Wednesday afternoon. I wish them all the best in their future footballing endeavours.

Thank you to all the parents who have helped to transport the children, without whom attending these events would not be possible.
