“On Wednesday, 21st November, we had a great afternoon at the East Grinstead sports club. We played two 25 minute games. Our first match was against West Hoathly school. Jay scored an outstanding goal into the top corner, then Mikey went past all the defenders and placed the ball in the bottom corner. It was a brilliant goal. After that the team were still strong and Fletch scored a mind blowing goal from outside the box and the crowd cheered! Not long after that the ref blew his whistle. 3—0 us!

On to our next match—we were against a better and stronger team, Turners Hill. They had a few shots but they went wide, but eventually they scored which made the team determined and stayed resilient. During the second half they kept their lead but near the end Fletch scored an incredible goal—he went past a few players and smashed it into the back of the net. Everyone went mad. When the ref blew the whistle for full-time the score was 1 - 1. That is a brilliant start of the season”
