Geckos and Monkeys had a brilliant day out last Friday where they took a trip to Hever Castle! They both started the day with a tour of the castle and Year 1 the went on to have a 'Time Travellers' workshop where they learnt all about the hierarchy in society, in the past. Whilst in the castle, Geckos learnt more about key features such as tapestries and portraits as well as exterior features of a castle. They were all very good at naming similarities and differences between the past and present. All of the children were fantastically behaved and a member of the public even went up to Miss Pringle and complimented their behaviour!
