On a very wet, rainy and miserable Wednesday afternoon 9 children from Class 2 attended a football festival at Lingfield College.

We were joined by teams from Crawley Down and the host school Lingfield. After some apprehension to begin with, we quickly found our confidence and started to play some very ‘brave’ football. The children showed great courage and confidence when playing and even managed to score a couple of great goals in the process! There was some fantastic pressing from Isla and Charlie and Vinnie made some brilliant saves in goal as well as showed some amazing dribbling skills when playing outfield.

I was very proud of the courage all the children showed, many of them trying something new in an unfamiliar environment. Well done to Ellody, Hugo, Vinnie, Charlie, Christian, Nevaeh, Elliot, Isla-Rose and Isla and thank you to those children who helped to transport the children.       Mr Law
