We had an exciting start to the week with a fun and interactive Science assembly led by Laura Smith, a Science teacher at Sackville to help us launch British Science Week. The children were treated to a whole host of simple and fun experiments that included making Lava Lamps, using heat to split boiled eggs in half and making tea bags fly! The children got a real taste of secondary science to come and some got to put on goggles and use pipettes and test tubes! The children thoroughly enjoyed it and Laura received several unprompted bursts of applause from the children for her experiments! Thank you to her.
