We had a very colourful day in school yesterday with the vast majority of children dressing up as a well-known book character. Costumes were judged in assembly with a winner announced from each class. This then resulted in an overall winner from infants and one from    juniors. Congratulations to the following children:
Imogen Rann (Class R), Daisy Matthews (Class 1), Alexander Wadham-Smith (Class 2), Daniel Maddox (Class 3), Rohan Salazar-Gray (Class 4), Laurence McLaughlin (Class 5) and Elli Field (Class 6).
Overall winners were Daisy Matthews for infants (dressed as Handa from Handa’s Surprise) and Daniel Maddox (dressed as Gangsta Granny).
Thank you to all children who took part and to all parents who supported them. Our voluntary collection raised £72 for the World Book Day charity.
