  • Area Sports

    Fri 27 Jun 2014
On Wednesday afternoon a group of children represented Felbridge in the East Grinstead Schools Area Sports competition. Each year one of the smaller local schools has to compete against the bigger schools to even out the numbers. This year it was our turn! All our children performed brilliantly and, as a team, achieved 4th place. Very well done to Dominic Asprey, Luca Collman, Sam Mosley, Jasmine Lacey, Rachael Thompson, Lia Harding, Lauren Keetley, Callum FitzHenry, Michael O’Brien, Chloe Daley, Evie Marsden, Jamie Davis, Jack Smart-Williams, Maddie Willett, Eve     Carey, Bobby Eke, Kyal Joyce, Mollie Smith-Halvorsen, Olivia Marsden, Jamie Webb, Freddie Lines, Darci Gettins, Millie Robertson, Sofia Davis, James Rogers, Arwen Sinden, Caleb Neale, Morgan Mitchell and Lewis Georgiou.
Thanks to Miss Tomlin for organising the team and to Mr Joyce (Kyal, Class 5) for providing some additional training.

  • Enterprise Week

    Thu 19 Jun 2014

The week beginning the 9th June was Enterprise Week at Felbridge. The whole school spent the week making things to sell at our Enterprise Market which was open to parents and families on Friday afternoon. Each class had to plan what to make, what they would need, how much it would cost and how much they should sell it for to make a profit.  During an Enterprise assembly, classes were able to ‘pitch’ for their product.
School was a hive of activity all week involving a lot of art and craft work as well as significant amounts of cooking!
On Friday, the hottest day of the year, everyone was involved in setting up the market and then selling, once the market opened. Class 4’s homemade lemonade was particularly popular in the heat!
Overall Enterprise Week made an amazing profit of £870! Well done to everyone.
