  • Area Sports

    Wed 22 Jun 2016
I feel extremely proud of all the children who took part in Area Sports this year.  Not only did they perform fantastically but the teamwork they showed and the support for each other was amazing.  They represented Felbridge brilliantly and it was a pleasure for me to take them.
    Miss Tomlin.
“On Wednesday 22nd June some members of Class 3, 4, 5 and 6 went to Sackville School to compete against other schools in an event called Area Sports.  There was Vortex, Relay, Long and Broad Jump, Sprint, Long Distance and Obstacle Race.  There was a great atmosphere although it was raining a bit but we all really enjoyed it.  Overall, we came 2nd out of the small schools and St Peters were 6 points ahead of us in first place.  Also every school represented a different country; Felbridge were France.  It was an excellent day and we would like to thank everyone for supporting us.”  By Chloe Daley, Evie Marsden and Beatrix Furbank.
  • Queen's 90th Birthday

    Fri 17 Jun 2016
We had a fantastic time last Friday celebrating the Queen's 90th birthday! The children began the afternoon with a wonderful rendition of 'God Save the Queen' ably led by Miss Riggs and then sat down and enjoyed sandwiches, cakes and delicious cup cakes made by Mrs Powell. The weather was perfect and all the children enjoyed marking this special occasion in such a patriotic and tasty way!

We are very grateful to all the parents, Mrs Eales, Mrs Furbank, Mr Gualtieri, Mrs Sanders, Mrs Benetar, Mrs Webb and Mrs Bornati-Jones, who kindly helped on the day to prepare the food and help serve in the afternoon, to Mrs Scott for doing all the shopping and Mrs Powell for baking 210, beautifully decorated cup cakes for us!
  • Sports Day

    Thu 16 Jun 2016
We all enjoyed Sports Day yesterday and were thankful that we managed to get through it, just, without a downpour! All the children had a lovely time and competed beautifully. Huge congratulations to the yellow team who were our overall winners this year.
Our sincere thanks go to the PTA for serving refreshments on the day, Alley Tomlin and Emma Warland for their superb organisational efforts and all the school staff as a whole, who contributed to its smooth running. We would also like to thanks Penny Jeffers (governor) and Beth Clarke (ex-governor) for all their help with the scoring and Nigel White, our caretaker with his assistance with set up and managing parking.
