    Mon 21 Jul 2014
Parents who have helped in school over the last year were invited to a thank you tea on Monday 21st July. They were looked after by some of our Year 6 pupils who served tea, coffee and cake and also read a thank you poem. It was a lovely afternoon enjoyed by all!
  • Sports Day

    Fri 18 Jul 2014
Sports Day was very successful although rather hot again! We were very impressed with the way the children competed and put every effort into doing their best. Congratulations to Black Team who emerged as overall winners.
  • Schoolympics

    Fri 18 Jul 2014
On Wednesday, 16 children from across Key Stage 2 took part in the Mid Sussex Schoolympics held at Oathall Community College in Haywards Heath. The children competed in 6 events during the day against 8 schools in their group and 35 schools in total. Their scores were combined with various other schools representing one of five continents. The children were very impressive trying their hand at New Age Kurling, Rowing, Heptathlon, Cycling, Tri-Golf and Handball. Well done to Sofia Davis, Millie Robertson, Jamie Smith, Lewis Georgiou,  Lucy Wadham-Smith, Olivia Marsden, Ashley Head, Laurence McLaughlin, Madison Gettins, Gabriella Williams-Gater, Harry Stevenson, Joe, Hounslow, Erin Thompson, Jessica Wilson, Luke Georgiou and Oscar Bushell. Thanks to Miss Tomlin for organsing the team and to those parents who helped to transport and came to support.

  • Whole School Production - 'Old News' at The Hawth Theatre

    Wed 16 Jul 2014
On Monday 14th July the whole school took part in a production called 'Old News' at The Hawth Theatre in Crawley. We arrived at the theatre at 3.30pm for a dress rehearsal on stage and following a break for tea, performed to families and friends in the evening.  All the children were amazing and enjoyed the experience of performing on stage, in a theatre. Members of Class 6 took the parts of newsreaders and reporters, introducing scenes on key points in history which involved different classes performing their pieces.

Special thanks must go to Ruth Adams for leading the production, Kay Powell for organising and making many of the costumes, all the staff for preparing their classes and particularly to Tom Pavier who organised the special effects and sound and Luke Notridge who organised images that were projected for each scene. Old News was written by Lucky Bucket Productions.
