    Fri 24 Nov 2023

What amazing progress for our netball team this week! They played brilliantly against Copthorne and although they lost, a final score of 2-1 is impressive with a fantastic goal from Evie! Miss Pringle thoroughly enjoyed taking them and cheering them on!

  • Try Something New  at Imberhorne

    Fri 24 Nov 2023

On Monday, ten children from Years 3, 4 & 5 had a fantastic morning at Imberhorne exploring two new sports. We split into two teams and tried out new age Kurling and Boccia. Both sports need lots of patience, accuracy and sometimes tactical thinking to get as close to a target as possible. Once we’d had a go, supported by the brilliant Sports Leaders from Imberhorne, we played against lots of other schools. Although the point was to try and sports and have fun with other schools, we did also play very well and there was some great skill on show! Everyone was a fantastic ambassador for the school, cheering each other on and acknowledging the other teams too when they made a great shot. Well done team!

  • Crew Trainers

    Fri 03 Nov 2023

On Wednesday our Crew Trainers from Jaguars class were invited to attend a training session at Imberhorne Upper school along with other local schools.   They enjoyed some warm-up playground games and in small groups engaged in setting-up and taking part in activities .  The children displayed some excellent communication and team building skills and very much look forward to delivering these activities to the whole school during lunchtime.

  • Football

    Fri 03 Nov 2023

On Wednesday some year 5 and 6 boys went to the Sports Club to play in the East Grinstead school's football league. We played a friendly against Meads which we drew 1-1.  We then played Copthorne who beat us 5-0. The boys played really well together and kept up their enthusiasm throughout the game.  Well done boys.
