• Basketball Festival

  On Tuesday 6th December we took part in a basketball festival at Imberhorne Upper School.  Alongside three other schools, we got taught to pass, dribble, shoot and how to use them in a game.  We played a small game of benchball but with the rules of basketball.  After that we got put in to two teams, an A team and a B team to compete against other schools in friendly five minute matches.  It wasn’t about winning, it was about using our new skills in a five-a-side match but in January we will compete to win.

• Christmas Pantomime

  The whole school were treated on Wednesday to a whole performance of Dick Whittington led by Hurricane Productions. This was funded by the profits raised from our Enterprise Week held in the Summer term. It was a lovely treat for everyone and we all thoroughly enjoyed it!
   

  

• Music Performance Assembly

  Thank you to Class 5 for their lovely trumpet performance in yesterday’s assembly. They have worked hard this term and have reached an impressive standard already! Thank you too to our individual performers who sang, played the piano and the guitar and to Mrs Trigg’s recorder group who also played beautifully. We were also treated by both the infants and juniors to a sneak previews of the two songs from the Infant and Junior Christmas ‘shows’.
