Class 2 - Sculptures
Fri 27 Nov 2020This week, Class 2 enjoyed creating sculptures using leaves, sticks and chestnuts, inspired by the work of Andy Goldsworthy. They worked brilliantly, in groups, to make their creations and were so imaginative with what they created!

Class 5 and 6 - Art Attack!

Crew Trainers

We would like to introduce you to our new Class 5 crew trainers: William, Dexter, Stan, Lyla, Toby, Heidi, Nieve, Sofia, Breanna, Oscar, Cecily and Frankie. The children attended a crew training session this week in school led by Suzanne Currie and Steve Hill working with Mid Sussex Active, and had a very enjoyable morning learning new skills. Both of the sports coaches commented on how magnificently they represented the school.
Crew Trainers, what do they do and how will they benefit our school?
· Crew trainers organise, manage and officiate intra and inter school events
· Develop leadership skills
· Act as role models for other pupils
· Provide insights to help steer PE & school sport strategy

Classes 3 and 4 - Science Morning
Fri 06 Nov 2020As we were unable to go ahead with the planned visit to The Science Observatory at Herstmonceux, Mrs Sloane and Mr Skates brought the science to school! The children had a fantastic morning exploring a range of science activities such as building bridges, for our new topic of forces, as well as learning about light and sound.
