  • Geckos—Visit to Wakehurst Place

    Fri 25 Mar 2022

Geckos were absolutely brilliant on their first ever trip this week to Wakehurst Place! They listened beautifully, joined in with the activities and most importantly, had fun! They started the day by looking for lots of different mini-beasts and observing differences between them. Then, they all planted two sunflower seeds which we are hoping to see pictures of growing at home. After lunch, they went for a lovely tour around the key parts of the gardens. Thankfully the sun shone for us all day too!

  • Quick Sticks Hockey Tournament

    Fri 18 Mar 2022

On Wednesday, some of KS2 were lucky enough to take part in the Mid Sussex Active Quick Sticks hockey tournament. The morning session for years 3 and 4 saw the children taking part in 4-a-side matches and honing their hockey skills with various activities. After lunch years 5 and 6 were split into two teams and played in lots of different matches against schools from all over the county. Across both sessions all the children showed great sportsmanship and supported each other working together to create great defence strategies.  Mrs Pitt received comments from the course leaders and other teachers saying how great the camaraderie and behaviour was from the children at Felbridge. A huge well done to you all.

Thank you to all the parents that helped to transport to the East Grinstead sports club.

  • Pandas Class - Doggie Visitors

    Fri 04 Mar 2022

Pandas are busy learning about non-chronological reports in English. We interviewed some dog owners so that we could find out some more information about dogs. Then we wrote our reports and they turned out fantastically! A huge thank you to Mia’s mummy and Tia, Alisha’s mummy and Nala, Ben’s mummy and Sunny and Noah’s mummy and Luna for taking the time to be interviewed by us!

  • Netball

    Fri 04 Mar 2022

    Netball

Our netball team did amazingly well in their first tournament against other East Grinstead schools.  They were a little nervous at the start but soon gained their confidence and displayed some amazing attacking skills. The team won two games, drew one game and lost two games.

Well done team.  Mrs Ruffels is very proud of you all!

  • Monkeys Class - Fantastic Windmills

    Fri 04 Mar 2022

Last week, the children in Monkeys Class made windmills! We designed and assembled our structures and then tested them out. The children were very proud of what they had made as was Miss Fennell!
