  • Sackville Dance Show

    Fri 24 Apr 2015
Well done to the group of Class 6 children who choreographed their own dance routine which they then performed to other East Grinstead schools and parents at the Sackville Dance Show on Wednesday.

The children practiced every day leading up to the performance resulting in a very polished routine which Miss Tomlin described as ‘absolutely fantastic’.

Well done to Amelia Bardsley, Eve Carey, Hannah Edwards, Bobby Eke, Cydney Fenwick, Zara Keetley, Lara Maddox, Olivia Marsden, Hannah Martell, Laurence McLaughlin, Jensen Rann, Amber Titchener, Scarlett Treadaway, Lucy Wadham-Smith, Jamie Webb, Maddie Willett and Darcie Wilson. Thank you to Miss Tomlin for accompanying the children and to the parents for their help with transport.
  • British Values Day

    Fri 24 Apr 2015
Yesterday the children all enjoyed engaging in a range of activities as part of British Values Day.

All classes enjoyed their afternoon tea outside in the sunshine—our thanks go to Mrs Powell for making cakes for all the classes, to Mrs Jones for doing all the shopping and to Mrs Scott for her help with the preparations.  Thank you to Mrs Lovell, Mrs Hobday, Mrs McLaughlin, Mrs Eke and Mrs Furbank for making sandwiches for the whole school and to Class 6 for making the scones with help from Mr Willett, Mrs Bardsley, Mrs McLaughlin, Mrs Eke and Mrs Joyce.

Thank you also to Mr Adams (Mrs Bienkowski’s Dad) who came in to school to talk to the children about being a magistrate.

  • Sporting Achievements

    Fri 17 Apr 2015
Congratulations to the school football team who completed their round of matches finishing 4th in the league.

Well done to the netball team who took part in the Mid Sussex Schools     Partnership Finals this week.  Having won all their matches so far this season leaving them top of the Imberhorne League, they qualified for the finals   tournament against the winners of all the other Mid Sussex Leagues (approximately 40 schools were part of these leagues).  The girls came 5th overall in this tournament.
