• Violin Assembly

  On Thursday we were entertained by Miss Hoy’s violin group.  Nathan, Starsky, Heidi and Kaitlynn played a variety of tunes both together and individually and were all absolutely brilliant.  If your child would be interested in learning the violin please contact either the school office or refer to page three of this newsletter for further information.

  

• Class 6 Hoodies

• Festival of Dance

  On Wednesday a group of Class 3 children joined children from other East Grinstead Schools for Sackville’s Festival of Dance.  The children  gave a fantastic performance of their Roman dance.  Well done to all the children who took part and thank you to all the parents who helped to transport the children.

  

• Library Book Review Competition

• Team Points Winner

• PTA Easter Fundraising

  The winner of the chocolate sweet jar is Theo, Class 4 for guessing 149 (actual amount 147) and the winner of the marshmallow sweet jar is Charlie in Class 6, his guess was 125 (actual amount 126).

  The PTA raised a fantastic £140 for the school.

  

• Cake Sale - Mozambique Flood Appeal

  We would like to thank all the bakers and buyers of cakes last Friday. Felbridge Primary School successfully raised £122.40 for the DEC Mozambique Cyclone Appeal.

   

  Thank you to all the parents and staff that supported our goal, we were very proud to take it to Barclays Bank on Saturday.

• Rocksteady Music Concert

  On Wednesday, we were treated to a superb performance from the Rocksteady Music school.  The children had a fabulous time and enjoyed every minute.

• Class 2 Badminton Festival

  On Wednesday afternoon, 10 children from Class 2 went to the King's Centre for a badminton festival. There were lots of other schools there and all the children took part in a carousel of activities to improve their badminton skills. Each activity helped the children to improve accuracy, agility, speed and aim. The children all participated brilliantly, giving everything a try, even though some of the activities were really tricky! 

  Thank you to all those parents who helped to transport the children.

   

  

• Class 4 Assembly

  Well done to Class 4 for sharing their experiences of the residential visit to High Ashurst in assembly this morning.  It was lovely to see the children talk so enthusiastically about this trip and we all enjoyed hearing about all the activities that they were involved in.

  Thank you to Mr Law, Mrs Oliver, Mrs Shaw and Mrs Wright for accompanying the children on their trip.
