• Class 6 - Kingswood

  Mrs Luckett, Mrs Benwell, Mrs Shaw and Mrs Polley were overwhelmed by the fabulous behaviour shown by all of Class 6 during their residential trip to the Isle of Wight. Class 6 were a real credit to themselves, their families and to Felbridge School.

  Mrs Luckett presented special awards to: Harry, Esme, Hollie, Dawud and Mikey during assembly for being 100% amazing for the entire week! They showed all of our 'Ready For More' skills. They took risks, co-operated, took responsibility, reflected and remained resilient throughout. We are very proud of our year 6 class!

  

• Out of Lesson Learning

  We had some amazing Out of Lesson Learning projects handed in yesterday.  It was lovely to see so many amazing ideas. We  were happy to see so many mum’s, dad’s and grandparent’s coming to have a look at all their hard work.

  Lovely autumnal weather and lots of litter pickers using our new tools! Only one bag from the woods and fence around behind play frame and class R. We look forward to a litter free half term...

• Fireworks Evening and Krispy Kreme Sale

  Thank you to the PTA for organising another fantastic fireworks display last Friday.  The event raised an amazing £1079.29.

  Also thank you to Sarah Ellis for organising the Krispy Kreme sale which raised an additional £162.

  

• Star of the Term

  Well done to Sebastian, Charlie, Isla, Ralphie, Theo, Esme and Rachel who all received Star of the Term certificates in assembly yesterday.

  

• Football Tournaments

  Children took part in girls and boys football tournaments yesterday at the East Grinstead sports club.

   

  Both teams had lots of fun showing great sportsmanship  and representing the school brilliantly. 

   

  Thank you to Mrs Pitt for accompanying the children for the day and to all the parents who helped to transport the children.

   

  

• Diwali

  Children have been learning about Diwali this week.  A huge thanks to Mrs Black who spent the day with the children. They learnt about the Hindu Story of Rama and Sita, made Diwali cards, plates and lanterns, decorated tea lights and learnt a Hindu dance!

  

• Litter Picking Club

  Today we cleared the outside perimeter of our school and we only filled a small bag! Well done litter pickers and our message is spreading as litter is less!

• Class 6

  Class 6 have had an amazing week in the Isle of Wight.

   

  They've all been brilliantly resilient and have challenged themselves in many different activities including: archery, Jacobs ladder, buggy driving, balance beam, 3G swing and body boarding.

   

  We have been incredibly proud of all the children and I'm sure you'll enjoy hearing all about their week when we return!
