  • Class 6 Leavers Hoodies

    Fri 28 May 2021

    Class 6 received their leavers hoodies when they came into the classroom this morning.  They are able to wear them to school every day, in place of their school sweatshirt/cardigan, from this day forward should they wish to do so.

  • Scientist of the Term

    A huge thank you to all of the children, in key stage 2, who completed their 'Scientist of the Term' home-learning research task. The standard of work submitted has been very high and you have all been hugely creative in the different ways that you chose to present your work. Deciding which pieces of work to display, was a really difficult task! We need a bigger board! Thank you for working so conscientiously and for helping to create our Alexander Bell display.

     

  • Class R - Wakehurst Trip

    On Wednesday, Class R took a trip to Wakehurst place where they did a bug hunt, planted sunflower seeds and went on a trail looking at the different types of plants and flowers. Their behaviour was outstanding and they represented Felbridge beautifully! 

     

  • Woodland Club - Thursday, 20th May

    In Woodland club on Thursday, the children made bug hotels. They discussed the best places to make their hotels and then had a think about what bugs may reside in their hotels!

     

  • Class R—Fantastic Team Working

    This week, Class R really demonstrated their incredible teamwork skills by creating a collaborative collage of a butterfly! We can't wait to put it on display! 

     

  • Class 1 and 2—Visit to the British Wildlife Centre

    Yesterday, Classes 1 and 2 visited the British Wildlife Centre. The children had a brilliant day observing and learning all about British wildlife. They saw red squirrels, deer, weasels, polecats, adders, foxes and lots more! The children were all brilliantly behaved and were keen to share their knowledge from our topic 'Carnival of the Animals' with the keepers. 

     

  • Woodland Club - Thursday, 14th May

    In Woodland club on Thursday, we made some nature mobiles! The children were fantastic in taking their time to make some wonderful creations.

    This week, all of Class R have been learning how to add using a number line with the use of dominoes. They made sure that they started on the right number and did the correct amount of jumps. They even had a go at reading and writing number sentences! Here are just a few examples of the super learning!

    Woodland Club

    It has been wonderful watching the children come alive on our visits to the woods during Woodland Club.

    So far we have made dens and natural art.

    We are looking forward to creating woodland creatures, stick mobiles and many more exciting activities over the weeks to come!
