• Football

  On Wednesday our Class 5/6 football team went with Mrs Pitt to East Grinstead sports club to play in the primary schools football league.

   

  We started strongly against Crawley Down A team, pushing forward well and with a great pass to Noah, he scored.

   

  During the second half we defended well to keep ahead.  This proved a clever tactic as we won 1-0!

   

  Thank you to the parents for transporting the children and to Mrs Pitt for accompanying them.

  

• Hockey Tournament

  “On Tuesday, we went to the East Grinstead sports club for a hockey tournament with six other schools.  There were ten matches and we won four and lost six.  Dylan scored once and Maks scored three times.  We came 7th but that’s not last!  The matches were about seven minutes and we had fun!”  By Charlotte and Faye

• Swimming Gala - Monday 2nd March

  On Monday evening a team of 14 children from Classes 3, 4, 5 and 6 took part in the East Grinstead schools swimming gala.

   

  Is was a brilliant evening, the children were very nervous but all took part and were brilliant!  

   

  The team swam amazingly, however there are a few children that we would particularly like to mention:

   

  Daisy - achieved a Bronze medal girls years 5/6 50m freestyle final

  Harry - competed in the boys years 5/6 50 m freestyle final

  Isla - achieved a silver medal in the girls years 3/4 25m freestyle final

  Frankie -  competed in the boys years 3/4 25/ freestyle final

   

  The rest of the team were superb and gave it everything they had.

   

  Our thanks go to all the parents for transporting and supporting the children and especially to Ashley Morgan and Josephine Wilson for organising the evening.

   

  Well done Felbridge swimmers, you have made us all very proud!

  

• Journey of a Lifetime

  Well done to Katie and Rebecca (R), Sam, (1), Matthew (2), Devon (Class 3 had a separate JoL) (3), Lila (4), Florie (5) and Henry (6) for achieving the Journey of Lifetime Certificate this week.
