  • Netball

    Fri 01 Mar 2024

On Wednesday our some of the girls from our Year 5 netball team played an incredibly tough match against a very strong (predominantly year 6) team from Crawley Down School. Even though Crawley Down proved themselves to be the better team, Felbridge never gave up or stopped smiling. Their perseverance was thoroughly appreciated. Well done to Poppy, Emmi, Alisha, Lena, Darcie, Olivia, Amelie & Lucinda.

  • Bird Feeder and Seed Bomb Sale

    Fri 01 Mar 2024

On Tuesday, Year 5 held a sale of the Bird Feeders and Seed Bombs that we had made last week as part of our Wilder Schools Project.

We were really pleased at how enthusiastic the parents and children were to buy our produce!  We made a fantastic £92, which will be put towards a Wildlife Camera for our woods.  THANK YOU!!

Please remember to 'log your action' of buying our Bird Feeders and throwing your Seed Bombs, using the QR code, so that we increase our chances of winning the £500 prize. It only takes a minute and we would really appreciate all the 'actions' we get.

Thank you again for your support.

  • Football

    Fri 02 Feb 2024

On Wednesday the year 5 & 6 football team went to the East Grinstead Sports club to play a couple of matches in the East Grinstead Schools League.  We played Crawley Down and West Hoathly.  Despite some superb saves by Seb, we lost our first match (6-1) but showed great resilience and kept on trying to score, which Jackson finally did!! We drew our second match (0-0) and again played brilliantly as a team, working together. Thank you to all our mums and dads who came to support us.

  • Monkeys class - Traffic Surveys

    Fri 02 Feb 2024

Year One have been busy little Monkeys this week, going out to the Copthorne and Crawley Down Road to conduct traffic surveys. They wanted to see which road was safer, and what kind of vehicles were using each one. They found out that Copthorne Road is much busier, but that all kinds of cars and vans use both roads. Well done Monkeys!

  • Basketball Tournament

    Fri 19 Jan 2024

Yesterday, a small group of children went to Sackville School to take part in a Mid Sussex Basketball competition. This involved each half of the team playing 7 mini games against local schools and they were brilliant! Each team came 3rd overall after winning most of their games, one of which was 10-3 to Felbridge! They demonstrated some brilliant techniques and fantastic teamwork as well as representing the school successfully with their excellent behaviour!

  • Leopards Class - Living Things and their Habitats

    Fri 12 Jan 2024

In Science this week, Leopards class kicked off their new topic 'Living Things and Their Habitats' by exploring the woods. The children worked on their observation and questioning skills and discovered a range of little creatures including worms, centipedes and maggots. We looked at them under the microscope and then made some sketches. We couldn't believe what happens when a worm's body moves! We'll do this activity in the spring so we can compare the type of creatures that we find.

  • Pandas Class - Fairy-tale, Myths and Legends

    Fri 05 Jan 2024

Pandas Class have enjoyed a fun day dressing up as fairy-tale, myths and legend characters. We used “hot seating” (an interviewing technique) to ask each other questions and wrote about how we might feel as their character. There has been lots of giggles along with a lot of hard work.

  • Pandas Class - Polar Express

Year 3 enjoyed an invite to the Polar Express today.

We had the fire going, Christmas music and traditional carols playing and we all felt very festive! Pandas enjoyed dressing in their PJs, drinking hot chocolate and getting into the season through exploring the world of the Polar Express. We also did some fantastic group work!
