  • Football Tournament

    Fri 16 Nov 2018

On Thursday children from Felbridge took part in a football tournament.

The boys had high hopes of putting in some fantastic displays and doing very well in the competition.  The first game however set the tone for the rest of the day.  The children played some magnificent football and really showed their awesome skills, at times it was like watching Barcelona, Brazil and nearly as good as Norwich!

Particular highlights were Kam’s silky skills around the defenders and Jay’s cleverly flicked passes.  Sadly we were unable to find the back of the net.  This was largely because the goals were too small, the keepers too big and we were caught by unlucky counter attacks which resulted in us being unable to obtain results.

Well done to all the boys who all took part in a very sporting and competitive fashion.  We look forward to the next round of games and thank you to all the parents who helped to transport the children.

  • Sports Hall Athletics

    Fri 09 Nov 2018

It was a hot and busy afternoon in the sports hall at Sackville on Wednesday! Our team may have been small but we were mighty! Every single member tried their best and gave the indoor field and track events a great go... we ran, jumped and bounced our way into 8th place.

Mrs Pearce was particularly impressed by the team spirit shown, cheering each other and encouraging success... well done to Evie, Macey, Sarah, Phoebe, Addison, Charlotte, Evie, Anna, Finn, Jude, Rhys, Elliot, Starsky, Filip, Jasper and Alex from Class 5 and 6.

Thank you to all the parents who helped to transport the children to Sackville school, without whom we would not be able to participate in these sporting events.
